Curator of Recorded Sound & Broadcasting

The Special Collections Research Center (SCRC) seeks applications for this unique and exciting position. The successful candidate will combine a passion for the history of recorded sound and broadcasting with excellence in outreach and teaching with primary sources. The Curator of Recorded Sound and Broadcasting will provide curatorial guidance for collections across SCRC with a focus on documenting the history of recorded sound and broadcasting. SCRC holds extensive archival broadcasting collections of notable personalities such as Dick Clark, Gertrude Berg, Stephen Scheuer, Norman Corwin, Ted Koppel, and Mike Wallace. These collections encompass printed and manuscript materials, rare books, and substantial audio and video holdings.
