Hi David,
I have the whole CD collection which Ellen gave me.
I don't think the entire catalogue was reissued on CD - maybe 2/3.
It's possible that they didn't send her all the Club 99 CDs they released, but I doubt that.
Regards,
Ben

Rainer,
Thanks for your help; Ben Roth has sent me a full catalog of the original LP edition so, for the moment, I have a lot of data to work with regarding the label.
Not only has the whole series been reissued on CD, several items have been pirated. In my project I am documenting the original label, both LPs and CDs, partly with the intention of identifying the boots. And I would tend to agree that, under current circumstances, these could be 'done better,' though the ones I've heard weren't done badly, which makes them attractive to the privateers. The practice of reissuing historical opera is itself now an evolutionary and historic process, and I view Club 99 as a significant part of that activity.
best,
David N. Lewis
