I don't believe I ever saw anything about buying these books.

Subject: [ARSCLIST] News from the Lindström project
The Lindström project is an international project which aims to reconstruct
the global history of the Carl Lindstrom company (Odeon, Parlophon,
Favorite, Beka etc) and associated labels. Volume 4 has now been published,
and contains material on Slovenia, Sweden, Sri Lanka, Hungary, Denmark,
Bali, etc. There are also articles on early recording technology, opera
singers, equipment, etc. The project has also published scans of surviving
Lindström recording ledgers and reprints of catalogues, and maintains
databases of matrix and catalogue series. For more information, see the
project website, www dot phonomuseum dot at.
Anyone interested in contributing to the project is also welcome to contact
me offline. Volume 5 is now in preparation. We woud be particularly
interested in finding our more about the financial backers of the OKeh
label (founded by Lindström director Otto Heineman) and the label's
activities in Canada and Mexico. The "received wisdom" is that Heineman got
stranded in the USA in 1915 at the outbreak of WWI and was forced to stay,
but we know that he sailed at least twice to Germany during the war - after
all, USA did not declare war on Germany until much later. Where was the
company registered? Other subjects are also welcome.
