Speaking of thrift stores, I finally had a good score today. $2 for an excellent - near mint copy of
the Karajan early 60's Beethoven symphonies box. I dig those performances, and DGG got
over-aggressive with Sonic Solutions on the reissue CDs. Also found two British Decca 10" early
classical LPs for 50 cents each and a neato Columbia Special Products reissue of various Western
Swing 78's, 4LP box set for $1. All disks are in VG to NM. The rest of the pickings were junk. Did
not find the large steel or iron roasting pan I wanted (it's maple sap time in my neck of the
woods).
