We use artifact storage boxes to store DATs - they come with inserts that divide each layer into about 12 sections that are the perfect size for DATs and miniDVs to be stored in neat rows. I can provide the info when I return to the office on the 3rd - several of the archival supply catalogs carry them.

Subject: DAT storage suggestions
I'm looking for recommendations for storing DATs in a regular shelving unit. Does anyone make
foot-deep drawers or boxes for these things? Or trays that can be stacked? What I'd like to do is
fit these DATs in about the cubic space of an archive box but not have them loosely piled in an
archive box (which makes retrieval a real pain, especially for a tape that's on the bottom layer).
Thanks in advance.
