I'm against it. But if you're going to do it, PLEASE add MONO reverb, 
and not stereo!

Years ago, BMG released some old Broadway cast recordings on CD 
(Brigadoon in particular), that were taken from old mono disc masters 
(denoised to death), but they added a big burst of stereo reverb to the 
ends of all the songs. Sounded absolutely ridiculous. A mono reverb 
tail, while still not great, would have been far more appropriate.
