AMEN, Dan, AMEN!

This pertains to Algorithmix, Cedar, Izotope, and all the rest. It is SO 
easy to over-reduce noise and make the sound dead.

Algorithmix noise free pro has two controls aimed at counteracting 
it--it adds back in ambience.
