I hope you are all staying well. I just read this terrible news about Jelco, the tonearm manufacturer:
I own two of their arms, an SA-750D on my LP turntable, and an SA-750L on my archival table. Not only do many of us depend on them for our work (and pleasure), they are also the largest supplier of OEM tonearms in the world. Many manufacturers have depended on their products over the years, including Sumko, Grado, AudioQuest and Ortofon. Luxman currently makes one turntable with a Jelco arm, and Ortofon currently has six tonearms in their line, all manufactured by Jelco.
I wonder if one of the big manufacturers will take them over.
