Thanks for writing this up, Richard.
I love my Zoom H4n, though I have some quibbles with it,
Nowadays I can travel around and arrive at a venue with
audio and video in my messenger bag.
I do have a line attenuator plugged into the board feed tho.
(wish they would fix that..)
