oh, i want a Technics SP-10R! but I hope we can work with our existing
Technics 1200's-- we bought a large batch of them before they stopped
making them 10 years ago (but I believe they are back).
The cartridge is a good thing we should look at-- again, we are trying
to figure out how to do that. We are trying the "how does it sound"
test in this trial. (I hoped there was some quantitative way to do
this-- just a bit of signal processing on test records, but that does
not seem to be the way that the high-end folks do it).
