Dear colleagues,
I have a friend who is looking to donate his collection of 78 rpm recordings. Details below, including an email address where you can contact him if you are interested. Thank you for your attention.

I'd like to consult with you regarding my archival collection of 78 rpm records. There are approximately 500 records almost all in very good condition in bound books. The age of these records span from 1920-1960, mostly Turkish, a few Greek.
Although I had this collection since 1982 I don't have a data base and complete digital recordings of them. It would be great if that could be done. Actually, I would like to donate this collection of mine to an institution in exchange of getting information of the records and digital recordings of all the records, plus transporting them to their destination. Who would be most interested in these 78 records in US? Who or which institution would be a good host for this collection?
