Call for nominations for SAA Description Section vice-chair/chair-elect
Election of vice-chair/chair-elect to be held at the SAA 2000 meeting,
August 28-September 3 in Denver, Colorado. For more information
concerning election and responsibilities of the Section leaders, refer
to the by-laws at http://www.library.yale.edu/~dsmith/saa/bylaw.htm
The vice-chair/chair-elect must be a Section member and full or student
member of the SAA, as defined in the SAA Constitution. See
http://www.archivists.org/governance/handbook/section6.htm
The vice-chair/chair-elect is responsible for coordinating the Section's
Finding Aid Fair at the annual conference. The 1999-2000 vice-chair for
the Section is Bill Landis, University of California, Irvine, who will
succeed as Section chair for 2000-2001.
Please refer nominations to the Section's newsletter editor, Ann Hodges,
at [log in to unmask] Nominations must be received by Friday, June
16, in order to be published in the newsletter.
