Hello Bill,
Nice to hear from you.
Our software tends to be higher in price that University budgets
typically allow for, but we would be willing to work out a price that
fits within your budget if possible. What type of price range would be
acceptable on your end?
The way we envision that our software would accommodate your needs would
be to crawl your Web pages, extract the pertinent information, put that
information in a structured format, transmit it to server where it can
be searched (or browsed) in many different ways.
Regards,
Jon Riewe

Subject: Re: Search Engines For XML Documents
Hello Jon,
As part of LIU's Brooklyn Campus Library Web Team, I was
thinking about moving our Web pages, which are still being
developed, to either an ASP environment or marking them up
in XML so that our user's can search for documents in a variety of
ways. I have access to an NT Web server. In terms of a
minimal software configuration, how much would it cost us
to publish, index and provide a search interface to less
than 1,000 documents?
Thanks,
Bill Sees
