FEDLINK Spring Membership Meeting
Join your FEDLINK colleagues at the FEDLINK Spring Membership Meeting
for a presentation by Donna Scheeder, President of Special Libraries
Association and Deputy Assistant Director, Information Research
Division, Congressional Research Service, on the competencies needed
by special librarians to succeed in the evolving digital information
environment.
Other presentations include Carol Bursik, Chair of the FLICC Budget
and Finance Working Group, who will present the proposed FY2002
FLICC/FEDLINK budget, and FEDLINK managers, who will outline
FEDLINK's new revolving fund opportunities and explain how the
interagency agreement (IAG) and funds management processes will evolve
under this new legislation. Additionally, there will be reports from
other FLICC working groups including the Education, Information
Technology, Content Management, and Policy Working Groups, including a
report on the NCLIS assessment of public information dissemination and
NTIS. FLICC/FEDLINK staff will report on program activities.
