FLICC Meeting Announcement 2003-21
Join your colleagues to hear the latest about the program and then
suggest how you would like to see FEDLINK improve its processes and
services. The FEDLINK Advisory Council (FAC) members will facilitate
small group discussions to identify new approaches and options for
FY2004. The morning will also feature a discussion of the FY2004
proposed budget and other program reports.

In addition to the morning membership meeting, a special afternoon
program beginning at 1:00 p.m. will feature Outsell Inc. and a group
discussion on identifying trends in the information industry and federal
libraries. Information on this session follows the Membership Meeting
Announcement below.

Knowledge management? Content integration? Consortia and
enterprise-wide licenses? Outsourcing? Staff and budget reductions? Join
your colleagues to help FLICC/FEDLINK and Outsell, Inc. identify the
most important trends affecting federal libraries and the information
marketplace. Outsell analysts will report on trends in the content
industry.
Small group discussions will identify how these trends affect our work,
and how additional trends in the government shape the challenges for the
future. Input from these discussions will be used by representatives to
our advisory groups such as the FEDLINK Advisory Council and OCLC
Members Council to shape priorities for future activities.
