FLICC Orientations to Federal Libraries and Information Centers Series
International Monetary Fund (IMF) Joint Bank-Fund Library
As part of a series of orientations to libraries and information
centers, FLICC is offering an opportunity for federal librarians to
become better acquainted with the IMF Joint-Fund Library. Although not
a
federal library, its collections and services are of great benefit to
the federal library community. The program will include:
* Welcome, Introduction, and History
* Web Site and Services
* Tour of the IMF Joint Bank-Fund Library

International Monetary Fund, 700 19th Street, N.W. Washington, D.C.
Special Instructions
Please bring a picture identification--e.g., a driver's license,
passport, or an employee badge from another local, state or federal
agency.
Metro
The IMF is on 19th Street between G & H Streets. Use the main entrance
on 19th St.
* Red Line (Farragut North): Walk west on L or K Streets to 19th
Street
then south to 700 19th Street.
* Orange/Blue (Farragut West): Walk west on I Street to 19th Street
then south to 700 19th Street.
* Orange/Blue (Foggy Bottom): Walk east on I Street to 19th Street
then
south to 700 19th Street.
Parking
On-street parking is sometimes available on all streets surrounding
the
IMF but is limited. There is a public parking lot at 2000 Pennsylvania
Avenue, the entrance of which is on 20th Street, which is one way
north-bound.
