Subject: FEDLINK- ProQuest Dialog demo onsite and webinar -- September 15-AM & PM

Introducing the New Dialog, ProQuest Dialog
The merger of the Dialog and DataStar services is right around the corner! The first release of this new product — which we’re calling ProQuest Dialog — is centered on our pharmaceutical and biomedical content, and will be available this summer. A later release in December will add more scientific, technical and medical content. Next-generation command-based Boolean and proximity search will be available when the new product is fully launched in 2011. We’re very excited about the intuitive, yet powerful search interface, which will feature:

 * Full-text content from ProQuest to strengthen the offering across subject collections
 * Precision search tools, such as left hand, middle, and right hand truncation search
 * The option to select the interface language, combined with automatic translation of key parts of documents, to simplify access for users in non-English speaking regions
 * Integration of analytical tools and improvements in cross-file indexing to aid retrieval and use of content from existing and new sources
 * A full range of pricing and contract options
 *   And much, much more!
We invite you to take a sneak peek at what’s to come! Please join us for a special FEDLINK presentation for your ProQuest Dialog preview.

When: Wednesday, September 15 -- 9:30am - 11:00am EDT with a repeat at 1:30pm - 3:00pm EDT
Where: FEDLINK Training Room, Adams Bldg., LA216 (Second Floor), Independence St., SE, between First and Second streets (for a campus map, see http://www.loc.gov/visit/maps/)
