SCCTP is to increase the pool of knowledgeable serials catalogers
raise the quality of serials cataloging records contributed to

component of the Program for Cooperative Cataloging (PCC)
the program. The North American Serials Interest Group (NASIG),
American Library Association's Continuing Library Education Network

contributed to various aspects of the program.
