FLICC Orientations to Libraries and Information Centers Series
National Geographic Libraries
As part of a series of FLICC's continuing orientations to libraries and
information centers, FLICC is offering an opportunity for federal
librarians to get a behind-the-scenes look at the National Geographic
Society's Libraries. Begun in 1888 and opened to the public in 1920, the
libraries now serve a global staff working on print, television, online
and other products.
