It's true that the NAR and the serial record should be in sync. My first step would be to determine why the NAR has a date. It could be there are other serials with the title published in New York, in which case the serial record would be revised.

NAR no2012101358 (Town & country (New York, N.Y. : 1901)) appears to describe the work covered by serial bibliographic LCCN 57039998 (Town & country (New York, N.Y.)). As a result, I'm thinking NAR no2012101358 should be revised to match the serial record's 130. Does that sound right, or am I missing something?
