I don't now much about Zoogle and I haven't had time to look in detail at
the Desktop Search (it's still indexing my PC :-( ).
However I have a gateway that provides a SRU interface to the Google Search
Appliance. After a brief glance there appears a degree of similarity between
this and the Desktop Search, so it may be possible to create a gateway for
Desktop Search.
The gateway can run on your PC so again it should be possible to integrate
Google Desktop Search into an SRU-based portal running in one's browser.
What I am currently unclear about is how the Desktop Search will index SRU
responses, if at all. If it did, this would allow me to search my search
results !.
