Dear BIBCO participants,

In response to a suggestion to hold a poster session at one of the
biennial ALA PCC Participants meetings, the Secretariat has made the
appropriate room reservations to accommodate such an event at ALA Annual
in Chicago.  During the November 1999 Policy Committee meeting, Karen
Calhoun (Cornell University), Chair, Standing Committee on Automation,
was asked to formulate a general outline of this session which she
forwarded to the Secretariat.

One of the agenda items for the BIBCO Operations Committee meeting (May
11-12, 2000) is a brainstorming session to flesh out the contents of
each poster session based on Calhoun's outline. Participants are asked
to forward their suggestions to help the OpCo with this task.  The
