To remove any doubt: "at the end of September 2000" (see bottom of Rebecca's
letter below) should read "at the end of July 2000".
Otherwise: This looks fine! Now let's do the following: (1) Open any
discussion on the "639 list" and/or the "ISOJAC" list (depending on the
nature of the issue); give the discussion SOME time, but not too long. (2)
JAC chair closes the discussion, draws a conclusion (if possible), and
submits the issue for ballot on the "JACVOTE" list. (3) The result of the
ballot is posted on the "639 list" and/or the "ISOJAC list".
