There has been a discussion on Autocat recently about the appropriate
coding for "Compact disc".  It seems the Music Librarians Association
applied pressure and got it moved back to 500 from 538.

What is the difference between Compact disc or CD on the one hand, and
CD-ROM, DVD, VHS, etc. on the other, apart from a pressure group to have
it coded where it is better for display in systems which can't influence
tag order in display of notes?

Shouldn't all these physical details actually be in 300 along with rpm
and ips?
