The indexes for the newsletters __News and Update__ have
been updated to include the 1999 issues.  The index
for__News__ covers the years 1978 to 1999; the index for
Update covers 1985 to 1999.  Because of their length, we are
no longer providing hard copies of these indexes.  They can
be found on the NLS home page at
<www.loc.gov/nls/promotional>.  This site also contains text
of these newsletters beginning with the 1995 issues.
