The OCLC Authority Name File problem reported yesterday, July 31, 2000,
was resolved as of 2:32 a.m., EDT on August, 1st. The OCLC Services
were offline from 2:00 a.m. to 2:32 a.m. while staff worked to correct the
problem. The scan for personal names (sca pn) now works for all names.
