Yes, there were problems with the servers today and as Mel has observed, they have been repaired. I agree with Ron that sometimes computers can just be evil.
American Memory has places where you (and folks not on this list) can advise us of these problems. The error report form <http://memory.loc.gov/ammem/helpdesk/error.html> is linked to every collection's home page via the American Memory Help Desk <http://memory.loc.gov/ammem/helpdesk/>. A help desk link is provided on the bottom of each collection's home page. Problem reports are routed to a team of specialists here in the program and usually get fixed pretty quickly. You may also report errors via the "reference librarian" link <http://memory.loc.gov/learn/faq/comment.html> on the bottom of most Learning Page webpages.
