Sorry, I guess I should have been a bit clearer.

It is encoding of the "descriptions"  for sound and moving image records,
i.e. the finding aids, that I was interested in finding relevant examples

Pointing/linking to digital surrogates of the primary records is indeed
something else, although that is something to explore later on.
