I am looking into how we can provide universal access to our EAD finding
aids and wanted to know if there is one tag in particular that should be
used to provide prose desciptions of images that could be read by
non-sighted users' browsers?
Some suggestions so far have been <daodesc> or <unittitle> but I am not
sure if this is more a question of what the UA broswers are set to read
than if any one tag is "universal access" ready (I also have a query out to
a UA browser listserve).
Any suggestions? Is anyone out there already providing universal access via
