I should add, that of course 'espaņol' is also used in many contexts and
there also some regional differences in the frequency of the two
alternatives. The Union Latine (intergovernmental organisation for all
Romance language countries) for instance uses both names alternatively
(though castellano more often) in their documents (in Spanish).
