Additions to the MARC Code Lists for Relators, Sources,
Description Conventions

The following codes have been recently approved for use in MARC 21
records. They will appear in the next printed edition of the "MARC
Codes Lists for Relators, Sources, Description Conventions" but
will appear in the online version of the code list at the end of
the implementation waiting period. These codes should not be used
in exchange records until after December 11, 2000.
MARC Subject/Index Term Sources
Changes:
gtlm - Genre terms for law materials (subfield $2 in
field 655) "[use after 12-11-2000]"
unbisn - UNBIS Name Authority List (subfield $2 in
fields 600-630, and 651) "[use after 12-11-2000]"
