I am an occasional reader of science fiction. As I was sorting through my
messy pile of unread books I discovered I had purchased "Shards of Honor"
some time in the past. Is this the book I should start with in the
Vorkosigan series?
A couple of qs:
How young could one be to appreciate this story. I have a couple of preteens
who enjoy very much being read to or listening to books on tape. For example
they enjoyed very much Pullman's Golden Compass and Subtle Knife on audio.
Are many of the series readily available, unabridged on audio tape?
Thanks for your advice
