During the past week the media have issued reports about several viruses
that seem to be circling the globe. One of them has something to do with
pictures of female tennis stars. The threat appears to be quite real. A
virus was submitted to the EAD list from one of the subscriber's email
accounts earlier this week. I hope all of you were able to avoid
infection with this virus. It came with a strange Spanish language
subject line.
The important thing to remember is that no one is immune to receiving
unsolicited viruses via email. If a message from this or any other
source does not appear safe, we recommend deleting the message without
viewing it. Even if this means missing some legitimate electronic
messages, it is better than ruining your computer and potentially those of
many others. I'm sorry if you were affected by the virus that was sent
out on the EAD Electronic List.
Randy Barry (your concerned EAD list administrator)
