Subject: ?identify science fiction plot
Hi,
My patron is looking for a book that he read a "few" years ago. Central
theme of the book is that there is a finite number of souls that are
recycled as living people. However, longer life spans have resulted in a
shortage of souls. The demand has exceeded the supply so to speak. Patron says
it is not the Jack Chalker
series. I've looked at "The Education of Oversoul 7" by Jane Roberts, but
can't tell if it is the right book.
Checked our guides to science fiction and allreaders.com
Does the book ring any bells with anyone? Thanks,
