Good points. In developing procedures we'll keep your concerns in
mind and look for the most efficient mechanism possible. Maybe a web
form so that anyone at any institution could report at anytime to a file
here that could be handled by staff not already overburdened with other
duties? hmmmm, we'll get to work on that.
Notifications of upgrading MLC or overseas office items are not
included in these procedures, my understanding is that we're strickly
talking about items that BIBCO participants see in LC's Online Catalog
which are still in-process, for this reason OCLC would not be able to
provide a notification service.
Thanks for commenting, BIBCO depends on your help to keep procedures
