For the October ZIG meeting, you'll note (see
http://lcweb.loc.gov/z3950/agency/zig/meetings/uk2001/glance.html) that we've
tentatively scheduled ZNG for presentation and discussion, Thursday morning (we
also need to discuss our "private" meeting, but that's another subject).
I suggest we line up a number of us to give brief presentations on aspects of
the project. The total session is about three hours, and if we assume discussion
during the presentations, we could plan for two hours of presentation including
discussion, plus an hour of discussion.
Here's a first cut at a schedule:
General Overview/intro -- Ray (:10)
Architectural overview -- Poul Henrik (:15)
Goals and Objectives -- Pat (:15) (Pat -- will you be there?)
"The Dream" -- Ralph (:15)
WSDL/SOAP -- Matthew (:15)
Explain -- Jan (:10)
CQL -- Ralph (:15)
Implementation -- ?? (:15)
Re-cap -- Bill (:10)
(What else?)
Please comment.
