Clara--

I forgot to add that no one (other than RRB employees) can borrow materials.
We do assist readers who need to borrow our resources in interlibrary loan.
(Once I even asked an attorney at another federal agency to give me the name
of her favorite librarian so we could expedite an ILL request for a book she
needed immediately, and I called the librarian to set it up.)

Library photocopy charges are the same as those for the rest of the agency
(10 cents per page), but as specified in 20 CFR 200.4, we will waive charges
under $10. We held printed copies of agency manual indices for FOIA
requests before they migrated to electronic format.

The e-FOIA workstation is in an area adjacent to the main library. Although
I set it up, I did so for the Office of General Counsel and it is under
their control.

Everyone who enters our building must be signed in and escorted back out.

I have been asked to review our public access policy. What is your
policy/procedure for allowing the public to use your library?

Thanks
