NACO Training Course at LC, December 3-7, 2001
The Cooperative Cataloging Team will offer the five-day
NACO training course at the Library of Congress, December 3-7,
2001. This session may be of greatest interest to libraries who have
a small number of catalogers in need of training, and who do not
anticipate having a NACO trainer visit their institution to work with
a larger group. Each institution will be responsible for its trainees’
travel and accommodation costs. There is no fee for the class or
for the NACO training manual.
Please respond by Friday, September 21, 2001. In your
message, please include contact information for your institution,
which utility you will use for record contribution, the number of
catalogers you wish to send, and any special languages or topics in
the materials for which you would create name authorities.
Library of Congress programs comply with the
Americans with Disabilities Act. If accommodations are needed
for you to attend this class, please include pertinent information
when responding to this invitation.
