FEDLINK is considering offering a new training class, Managing Your
Library's Web Site. The course would cover both content issues (e.g.,
library catalogs on the web, links to electronic resources, local
information, online forms) and management issues (access, security,
staffing, usability). The course would probably be one day in length,
and like FEDLINK's other one-day workshops would cost $125.
Before we develop and offer this course, FEDLINK staff would like to
know if there is sufficient interest on the part of federal library
staff in such a class. If you think you might be interested in taking
such a class, please send me a message at You won't be under any
obligation - - you'll simply help us get a better idea whether we
should allocate staff resources to this project.
Many thanks.
