This is my fault. I forgot to specify the xsi:schemaLocation in the
METS:mets element when I set the document up. (The document validated in
XMLSpy for me when I was creating it, because I had a project property set
to validate against a local copy of mets.xsd.)
I'll submit a corrected version of sfquad4.xml to LC for posting. Thanks
for pointing the problem out.
Note that XMLSpy will only validate against the primary schema (METS) not
the secondary ones (gdm, adm).
