Well I produced the current version, which I'm tidying up to post to
Ray. I've not made any major changes to it, partly as I've not had much
time in the last few weeks, but mainly because I not think we've reached
any conclusions over this - just raised a lot of issues/points for
discussion.
Part of the problem is that it we say we are going to pass the response
back as an arbitrary XML document (even within a SOAP envelope) built
using an XML parser then we can do more or less what we originally
proposed. Once we want to use a SOAP toolkit to generate the XML we end
up with a much more restricted set of things we can do easily.
My current view is that I don't think a mail list is the right place to
reach consensus on these matters, but that another ZiNG meeting may be
needed (or at least a telephone conference).
