well, I suspect that the SRW concept might be deployed in interfaces for a
number of different kinds of users not all necessarily being the classic
end-user.

I guess i agree although i see different audiences for those clients - I
see the OAI client as being more of an internal client that just lets the
service provider get the data - the SRW client is more of the end user
client that provides the value add service - admittedly that may be too
rigid a breakdown of how things will work
