Fran--
We have no Historian per se, but there are 3 of us (myself, a guy in OPA,
and our Records Manager) who are interested in preserving agency history.
We work together and have a lot of fun doing it.
I have prepared a proposal showing how we could exhibit the artifacts we've
collected and I plan to physically establish the history area before I
retire.

Subject: Organizational Placement of Historians Office within your
Agency
I am interested in finding out under what organizational part of your agency
the Office of the Historian is located, ie. Public Affairs, Administration,
etc. I am particularly interested in hearing from Cabinet Departments but
would welcome this information from other agencies as well. I am having
difficulty finding this information in traditional sources!
Thank you for your assistance.
