Ralph, I don't see how you made this leap. I don't see anything if Alan's
proposal to suggest or lead to the "implicit behavior" discussion that this
thread has digressed to. I read him to be simply suggesting a syntax for the
client to explicitly indicate what it wants. Did I misunderstand?
