Understanding and Using Library of Congress Subject Headings

Some library employees, especially technical services and cataloging
personnel, need to use or understand Library of Congress Subject
Headings (LCSH) but have not yet received training. This workshop will
appeal to those new to LCSH and to those desiring a stronger
with this cataloging tool. The workshop instructor, Mary K. D.
Senior Cataloging Policy Specialist in the Cataloging Policy and
Office, Library of Congress, has presented many subject cataloging
workshops for the Library of Congress, FEDLINK, CAPCON, and others.
Attendees will receive the 14th edition of the one-volume Free
Subdivisions: An Alphabetical Index, as part of their workshop
