The mods schema at http://www.loc.gov/standards/mods/
is not currently in synch with the examples. We've been updating the schema
in preparation for a new draft, hopefully to announce next week, and in the
process we haven't been able to maintain the examples in step with the
changes. We'll get them back in synch soon. Sorry for any confusion this has
