OCLC is pleased to announce that software changes to implement portions of
the recommendations of the PCC Standing Committee on Automation's Task Group
on OCLC Batch Processing. OCLC can accept mixed files of bibliographic
records from BIBCO participants and separate out PCC records. Those records
are then processed so that they either are added as new PCC records or
overlay existing records appropriately.

BIBCO libraries who are OCLC batchloading libraries should contact Joanne
Gullo, Manager, Batch Support Section, if they are interested in having
files processed using these new options.
