- Library Assessment and Benchmarking Institute Planned
FEDLINK is heading to Monterey, California September 13-17 with SLA and
ARL to present "Lab 2002--Library Assessment and Benchmarking
Institute," a program designed to provide information professionals in
government, academic and/or corporate settings with practical assessment
strategies, benchmarking techniques and e-metrics.

"How to Use FEDLINK in 2003" will be an online video; the Fall FEDLINK
Membership Meeting (Oct .17) will look at outsourcing; the FALL OCLC
Users Group Meeting (Nov. 1) will highlight the latest enhancements to
the joint LC/OCLC digital reference project.
