Introduction to XML (Extensible Markup Language)
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
This workshop introduces non-technical staff, administrators and project
managers to Extensible Markup Language (XML). The course will offer a basic
overview of XML, current applications in museums, libraries and archives, and
considerations for XML project planning.

XML Tutorial
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
This workshop offers technical staff an in-depth introduction to Extensible
Markup Language (XML). The course includes the Introduction to XML workshop
(see above), an overview of XML editing and validation tools, how to convert
existing text to XML, how to apply styles and transformations to XML text and
hands-on exercises using XML.
