I'd fail that search as dublin core is not a word, it's a phrase. I
thought that this was the implication of fooWord -- that it was a single
keyword index, and that the terms were a single word. If you want to
searh for dublin core, then either do a proximity search or an unanchored
word based string search.

My second impression is that if it takes this much effort for people
-extremely- familiar with Z39.50 to write a specification for what Dublin
Core means, which is about as simple as it gets, then the bar is
intolerably high for anyone not in the Z39.50 community already to take up
SRW. I couldn't in good faith recommend using SRW to someone who doesn't
already know Z39.50 at this stage because defining the appropriate
attribute combinations is very complex.

I suggest -not- requiring a semantic definition in terms of Z39.50
attributes for SRW indexes, as this step will be almost universally
ignored as too hard and for no appreciable gain.
Let's just formalise two semantics - foo and fooWord in index names. When
we find a requirement for further semantics, we'll add them.
